Ben knew this was the end. People with the virus were popping up everywhere with the virus.  Ben was a tradesman. But shortly after the virus started showing up the trade routes were blocked off. He was not infected. He was relieved. The doctors were checking everyone. He had saw many dead bodies of the infected on the street and on the road. He was still terrified. Ben heard this plague started infecting people after trade ships came empty but were full of dead infected bodies. The ships were full of goods, mice and other rodents ran out carrying the disease all over Europe infecting many people. Right now all he needed to do was survive. The virus caused black boils that oozed blood and pus. It was a painful.         Several years later. The doctors finally found a cure, but it’s all ready done it’s damage.  In the past years it was all ready killed over 20 million people. That is over one third of the population of Europe at the time! Ben survived which was significant but it was horrible to see so many dead! 

 

This is a real thing that actually happened in Europe. The information is all true except for Ben. This plauge or virus is called the Yersina pestis.
